ORAL SURGERY

Oral surgery is the branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis ,treatment and management of irregularities and pathology of the jaw and mouth that require surgical intercession.Surgical removal of teeth is the most common procedure performed by oral surgeons. Oral surgeons also play a role in supporting orthodontics and are instrumental in bone augmentation before the insertion of dental implants, when bone matter is appended to the jawbone, stimulating bone regeneration in order to permanently anchor the implants.
